Please don't apologize. I would never have uessegd it but this has turned into the hottest topic on my blog so far and some fascinating discussion. What I find interesting (see the interchange with Norman Pressman and myself) is that those who are involved mostly have deep feelings about the sorority, the Greek system, the university or some such thing. I don't. I only comment on the way the media and the blog world are responding to this situation. So it has turned into somewhat of a strange conversation, I keep talking about one thing and the commenters coming back and saying, yeah but, and then talk about something entirely different.Don't know anything about Stodder or the Garrison Keillor situation so if you want to fill me in I might be crazy enough to blog about it.
Thank you so much Maryjane! I just wrote what I thought about you and your way of iertrptening fashion, which I love. I'm very glad that you felt it as a compliment and it gave you a good feeling, this make me happy too :-)Summer, thank you too! I'll pass by your blog for sure ;-)

OVE0e1 Thank you ever so for you post. Much obliged.
A couple adoitidnal points. Parking is a very valuable asset in any downtown. Accommodating visitors/workers to our downtown creates valuable commerce. Placing MCC at the Sibley's building takes away hundreds of parking space that will be needed to attract commerce to our city center. MCC students are not major consumers that will benefit downtown they have very, very limited disposable income they are at MCC just for the academics thus the nearby Kodak complex makes sense. Second The Sibley's proposal is only for 275,000 sq. ft. The Kodak complex is over 561,000 sq. ft. and hundreds of free parking spaces. There is easy and flexible space at Kodak to accommodate adoitidnal educational institutions or to lease sell adoitidnal space to the private sector. THe Kodak sites gives you space flexibility and much less congestion in the center of Downtown ROchesterMCC should be moved to the Main Campus its the most cost effective site and gives all students equal access to a complete/quality campus. But if MCC continues to pursue a city center location Kodak is the only site that would benefit the students.
